During the preseason friendly match between Roma and Barcelona which held yesterday, August 5th, things got nasty following the headbutt from Barcelona top player, Lionel Messi, 28, on the neck of a Roma defender, Yanga-Mbiwa, 26, at the 36th minute.
Though, Messi is known to be the a fair player with his opponents but clearly took issue with Yanga-Mbiwa initiating contact with his own head. Not only did Messi headbutted Yanga-Mbiwa, he then put his hand around the Yanga's neck. Both players were awarded yellow card for the incident.
